At the World Series of Poker Event 24 started with even chips for all players at the final table. The event was a shootout, which means that each player has to win his table before moving on. This means that at the start of each round all players have the same amount of chips. This WSOP event kicked off its final table with 1.5 million in chips for each poker pro. In the end it was Mark Radoja, who finished third in the $5,000 NL Holdem Six-Max Event of 2010, who took the victory and $436,568.

While Chris Moorman’s incredible run in 2011 is being looked at as one of the best transitions to live poker from an online poker legend, another online star has also been quietly leaving his mark on the live tournament trail this year, Taylor “ambiguosity” Paur. Paur is currently playing in the EPT San Remo Main Event and managed to end Day 1b of the tournament as the overall chip-leader, bagging up 188,200 chips at the end of the night.
This time around the EPT San Remo attracted a field of 837 entrants, making this the second straight year the tournament has seen a marked decline in attendance.

In a crossfire of public statements Monday, Tropicana Las Vegas says it ended its management agreement with Nikki Beach because the dayclub, nightclub and cafe did not achieve a “net income.”
Meanwhile, a release from Nikki Beach officials accuses the hotel of keeping the Nikki Beach venues open against the wishes of the club’s parent company, which has sought legal counsel to deal with the matter.
